Architecture degree for women?

I’m planning to take Architecture this year. But I’m not so confident with this decision because this course will take 5 years of my youth and after looking at job openings on the internet, I found out that most job offers seek male architects. I also read an article about the future of many female architecture graduates- saying that many don’t get the job they deserve (because of gender discrimination). So if ever I take this course, what possible jobs can I get? (that can support my traveling, because I travel a lot).
